About me

My Philosophy
My Story

I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2010 with a Master's Degree in Early Intervention, my undergraduate degree is in Spanish and Environmental Studies.

My journey into becoming a doula began with my work with local non-profits providing infant mental health and postpartum doula support to families experiencing high-stress and often with involvement in the child welfare system. I was working every day with moms who had such a need for the doula goal of "mothering the mother". This work was supremely rewarding and also helped me to realize that families need support much earlier in the prenatal period and during birth. Parents are often feeling the need for information, guidance and a listening ear as they prepare for such a big life transition.

I continued my education as a birth and postpartum doula, pre and perinatal educator and member of the Association of Pre and Perinatal Psychology.

I support any and all families with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, developmentally appropriate practices, infant mental health, prenatal bonding and overall maternal wellness practices.
